Twenty Years

Last night my husband and I celebrated our 20 year anniversary. It’s kind of a big deal right? I think we should celebrate that every chance we get. Since Valentines day was just a few weeks ago, we celebrated our anniversary early and spent the weekend at Hotel Teatro in Denver. We had reservations at Dazzle – a true jazz club right across the street from the hotel. The band that night was a talented group of local musicians. They were SO good! Dazzle also has some “all ages” shows, so we plan on taking our theatre kid to some shows there soon.

The Comedy Works is just a block away, so the next night we bundled up and walked over there, for another fun night in Denver. They have a two drink minimum. My two drinks of choice were hot chocolate and hot chocolate.

For our actual anniversary, we went to a local spot we’ve driven by and always wanted to try. Farro is in a shopping center by King Soopers in Centennial. The food was so good, the staff was great, and they have live music on Wednesdays, so we really lucked out. It was the perfect place for our 20th anniversary!
