My First Post

Here it is – the first post of my blog. You’re welcome to follow along as I share my personal journal with you as a girl living in the burbs of Denver.

I’m in my late 40’s – definitely a generation Xer, but I should know how to put together a blog. Let me tell you, I do not. You have no idea what it took to add this picture of my favorite old coffee mug. I’ll get the hang of this though.

I don’t even know where to begin. I love cooking, baking, thrifting, and outdoor living in Colorado. I wouldn’t say I hate the winter, but this time of year gets me in a funk. Spring is right around the corner, though. It is the perfect time to start a new blog!

In this journal, I’ll likely talk about life with my husband of 20 years, our teen daughter, and our feisty rescue dog.
